The death toll in Iran has been reported to have surpassed 1,000 people since the war began, as stated by the Human Rights Activists News Agency, a US-based monitoring organization. Casualty figures are expected to rise as military operations continue.
Evacuation efforts have been accelerated amid escalating tensions. US embassies in three countries have been closed, regional diplomatic staffing has been reduced, and Americans in affected areas have been urged to depart. Safe air corridors have been opened by the United Arab Emirates in coordination with neighboring countries to facilitate the evacuation of stranded nationals.
